West Scranton High School is gearing up for Red Ribbon Week, which takes place from October 28 to November 1. The SADD Club encourages students to participate in this campaign by dressing according to daily themes aimed at promoting a drug-free lifestyle.

The dress code for the week is as follows:

- **Monday**: Students are encouraged to wear red to pledge to be drug-free.

- **Tuesday**: Students should wear black to symbolize a blackout against drugs.

- **Wednesday**: To emphasize education, students are invited to wear spirit wear or college shirts.

- **Thursday**: In celebration of Halloween, students can wear neon or orange to signify a bright future.

- **Friday**: To conclude the week, students are asked to wear tie-dye shirts to say "peace out" to drugs.

The school reminds students that dress code bottoms are required during the event. The Red Ribbon Campaign aims to raise awareness about the issues related to tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs, while promoting the decision to live a healthy and drug-free life.
