On September 11, 2023, the University of Scranton held a series of events to honor the victims and all those affected by the September 11, 2001 attacks. The university community participated in activities from dawn to dusk, offering tributes throughout the day.

Notable moments included the Royal Warrior Battalion, part of the Army ROTC, conducting a sunrise remembrance ceremony. Additionally, a sundown event served as a symbol of support, bringing the community together in reflection and unity.

The university emphasized a message of remembrance and solidarity with hashtags #neverforget, #universityofscranton, and #unitedwestand on their social media platforms.
