The Albright Memorial Library in Scranton, PA is hosting a pottery workshop on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Henkelman Room on the 2nd floor. The workshop, conducted by Experience Pottery, will teach hand-building techniques to create functional art pieces. Participants will paint, carve, and decorate their pottery, which will be taken to the studio for firing to ensure they are microwave, dishwasher, and food safe.

The cost to attend the workshop is $25 per person, and payment is due upon registration. Those interested can contact Briana at bciminio@albright.org or call 570-348-3000 ext. 3004 to register.

The workshop is part of Albright Memorial Library's PA FORWARD® program, which aims to promote civic and social literacy. The library is located at 500 Vine Street, Scranton, PA 18509.
