The Scranton Public Library is hosting a free summer concert this Thursday, featuring Doug Smith's Dixieland All-Stars at the Albright Memorial Library. The event is part of a collaboration between the Everhart Museum and Lackawanna County Library System to bring live music to local libraries. The concert aims to bring the joy of music to the community and celebrate its power to unite people. The series includes programs for all ages and children, with multiple dates and locations throughout the county. Participants can enjoy spirited sounds of Dixieland Jazz and even get a chance to play the instruments during the children's program. To attend, registration is required at your local library.
